NEC releases iPhone App
NEC Australia’s R&D centre developed a VoIP application for the iPhone called everPhone. It is an RFC SIP based client that allows the iPhone to connect to NEC’s award winning UNIVERGE SV8000 series of communications servers. It turns an iPhone into an extension of a desk phone, enabling you to take and make voice calls over your business IP network via Wi-Fi and mobile data networks, lowering call costs while increasing productivity.
